The activities within the Programme are oriented along two main streams:
� The Programme Management Level activities, which include Cost Benefit Analysis Support, Awareness and Communications, Implementation Management, International Standardisation and R&D Support. The production of the overall AGC Method of Operations, which constitutes the core item for the whole programme development, pertains here as well;
� The Functional Level activities, which include the production of operational requirements, procedures, validation exercises and initial operational systems (ideally in this sequence) for each of the functional groups usually considered (see 1.2.2.1).
The results of the validation and initial operational work will be fed back to improve the operational requirements, procedures and standards.
