For the definition and development of methods of operation and operational requirements, the AGC Programme embraces the following operational aspects of ATM: � Controller/ Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC), including four dimensional trajectory coordination; � Elementary Surveillance supported by Basic Functionality requirements for Mode S or alternative technology; � Automatic Downlinking of Airborne Parameters (ADAP), including all the data link services which downlink aircraft derived data in order to improve the ground-based automation and surveillance; � Data Link Flight Information Services (D-FIS); � Enhanced Air Traffic Situation Awareness (ATSAW); � Cooperative and Delegated Separation Assurance (COSEP). The two last aspects will only be taken into full consideration when the Programme scope is broadened.
